Based on an actual conversation between former Pittsburgh Steeler, Craig Colquitt and his grandson, a simple question leads to a funny exchange that ends with a tender, unforgettable connection that only grows sweeter with the passing of time.

Grandparents, more than anything, want to connect with their grandchildren in meaningful ways. A child will take this simple but most profound truth with them for the rest of their lives.

Craig Colquitt is a former professional football punter who played six seasons in the National Football League. He played with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts. He was a member of two Super Bowl Champion teams with the Steelers in 1978 and 1979. He is the father of two current NFL punters, Dustin and Britton Colquitt. Craig was inducted into the Greater Knoxville Hall of Fame in 2009. He is sought after as a speaker by Christian youth and sports associations. Craig makes his home near Nashville, Tennessee.

“I have said many times before my greatest joy in life is being a father – faith, family, and football. I am proud to see Craig following his heart for his family with this must- have children’s book.”

— Tony Dungy
